Nuevo requisito: Declaración de IA Generativa

For all submissions, it is mandatory to declare the use of generative artificial intelligence (GAI) or other technologies used in the submitted work. This declaration must be included at the end of the manuscript in a footnote. This is a requirement for the manuscript's evaluation, processing, and possible publication. This requirement applies to authors, guest editors, and reviewers.

Anales de la Facultad de Medicina, AnFaMed, is a biannual, peer-reviewed, online publication that publishes scientific, review and opinion articles, case reports, stories or reports on topics in the biomedical and health sciences, produced by the Faculty of Medicine of the University of the Republic (Uruguay).

Its objective is to contribute and energize the field of biomedical academic publications worldwide, publishing original articles of research and professional practice in medicine and related professions, in addition to various articles, such as reviews or others, aimed at improving public health and facilitating the communication of knowledge and experiences between teachers, students and professionals.

From 2020, the Continuous Publication of content modality is adopted.
