About Dreams
Abstract
While in his famous Dream Interpretation Sigmund Freud suggests that daydreams are related to the past (repressed desires), current research in neuroscience asserts that these concern our future. Sleep is one of the great mysteries of life. Human beings spend a third of their lives sleeping without awareness of the outside world. Part of this time, during daydreams, we have a cognitive activity disconnected from reality, bizarre and with psychotic features.
